Connecting Your Facebook Ad Account

A Facebook ad account must be connected to each location profile from which you’d like to boost content. Ad accounts can be connected to multiple Rallio profiles, but it’s important to note that they are validated by the user. This means that if multiple Rallio users have access to one profile, only the user who connected the ad account will be able to access it.

Any Rallio location admin can connect an ad account by going to Settings -> FB Ads & clicking Connect Now:

From here, you’ll need to choose which ad account you’d like to use and click Connect.

You will now have the opportunity to update your targeting preferences, as seen below. Once you’ve updated your targeting, choose Save Changes.

Facebook Boost Billing

You’ll notice that when boosting content through Rallio, you won’t need to provide us with payment details. That’s because the budget that you set for your boost is passed through Rallio directly to your Facebook ad account. All funds spent during the campaign will be charged to the primary method of payment saved in your ad account.

Within your Facebook ad account manager, you’ll have the option to choose from a variety of payment methods. You must provide Facebook an accepted form of payment in order to boost content.

Common Questions

Can I connect multiple ad accounts to one profile?

Not at the moment, but we do have plans to add this feature down the road!

How do I change my primary billing method?

Facebook allows advertisers to choose from a variety of payment methods. You can always add, change or remove your payment method from your Facebook Ads Manager dashboard.

Can I advertise on other platforms, such as Twitter?

Not yet! We will be integrating with other platforms in the future.

How does Facebook charge for boosted content?

Facebook’s ad pricing is based on an auction system where ad content competes for impressions based on bid and performance. To learn the nitty-gritty on Facebook’s pricing system, check out their Advertiser Help Center.
